Housekeeping

Hotel housekeeping and maintenance, in the same system

In iHotel, reception and housekeeping see the same status for every room: dirty, being cleaned, clean or inspected. A room is sold only when it is vacant and inspected. The system assigns rooms to attendants, tracks their tasks, and opens a maintenance ticket from the room itself. Part of the hotel PMS features.

Room status

Dirty, pickup, clean, inspected, out of order or out of service, each with vacant or occupied. An illegal move, such as marking a dirty room inspected directly, is refused by the system.

Assignments and tasks

  • Rooms assigned to attendants automatically by floor and workload.
  • Tasks that start, pause, complete and get inspected, with a photo and a maintenance report.
  • A printable daily assignment sheet for each attendant.
  • Checklists per room type, and a lost-and-found log.

Maintenance

Maintenance tickets that are created, assigned and prioritised. Work orders for facilities outside the rooms, such as the lift, the pool and the generator. Room-device faults open their own tickets, from the GRMS.

Reports

A discrepancy report between system occupancy and what housekeeping actually saw, and each attendant’s productivity in rooms per hour.
