Point of sale
Hotel POS: the restaurant and outlets, on the room folio
Point of sale in iHotel is part of the hotel PMS features: restaurant, minibar, spa and laundry, each with its own items. An order is charged to the room and appears on the tax invoice at checkout, or paid in cash. Stock moves with every sale, and cost of sales posts in the same transaction.

Outlets and items
Each outlet has its own items and serving hours, which may run past midnight. A staff member’s access can be limited to specific outlets.
From order to delivery
Where the money is and where the order is are tracked separately: an order is accepted, prepared and delivered; the money is open, charged to the room or paid. The kitchen queue shows unfinished orders, oldest first. Pay-on-delivery asks for the tender explicitly.
Ordering from the room
Guests see only the outlets and items made available to them, and order to the room or pay on delivery.
Stock and cost
A movement ledger for every item, a low-stock alert, and stocktakes that post the differences. Cost of sales at moving average posts with the sale itself, so each outlet’s margin is real. Ledger details on hotel accounting.
