Shomoos is the Ministry of Interior platform where a Saudi hotel reports its guests. iHotel reports each guest’s arrival and departure to Shomoos automatically at check-in and check-out, once the hotel enters its own Shomoos credentials. It is part of Saudi hotel compliance in the same system.

What the system reports

Checked before check-in
The system checks the fields Shomoos requires before a check-in completes. The settings screen and the check-in screen use the same check, so one cannot say the data is complete while the other refuses it.
A test before you switch it on
You can preview the exact request that will be sent to Shomoos, with secrets hidden, without sending anything. Switching the connection on is a form to fill in, not a software update.

The hotel registers with Shomoos itself, with the platform. What iHotel needs is the credentials the platform issues to the hotel.
