Hotel reservations and booking channels
iHotel manages reservations from the front desk to the booking channels: individual or group bookings, a room-and-night calendar, a waitlist, room moves and date changes. A room cannot be sold twice, because the database itself refuses the second booking. Availability and rates are pushed to booking channels automatically. Part of the hotel PMS features.

Booking
- A walk-in on one screen creates the booking, opens the folio, prepares the room and issues the card.
- A group booking succeeds completely or not at all.
- Confirmed, tentative, waitlist or no-show.
- Stay extensions and early departures, and deposits with numbered receipts.
No double booking
Prevented at three independent layers, the last a database constraint that makes two overlapping bookings on one room physically impossible, not just a warning.
Booking channels
The system pushes availability, rates and restrictions to the channels, re-pushes automatically when a price changes, and reconciles drift. Room types and rate plans are mapped to each channel’s codes, and an iCal feed is available for channels that import one. The two-way channel-manager connection, which also receives bookings from the channels, is built and tested but has not yet run with a live hotel; we switch it on with you.
Reports and commissions
Production and commission per channel, and reconciliation of what the hotel owes each channel in hotel accounting.
