A checklist before the season
- Enter group bookings early, and make sure each group is booked in full.
- Set up extra reception desks on the same hotel server, with a card encoder at each.
- Make sure the Shomoos and NTMP credentials are entered and tested.
- Review out-of-order and out-of-service rooms before the season and close their tickets.
- Try working without internet: reception and the locks must keep going.
During the season
Watch the housekeeping board so reception knows which rooms are really ready, and the discrepancy report between system occupancy and what housekeeping sees. Between seasons, the GRMS saves the electricity of empty rooms.
