Ministry of Tourism requirements: what concerns the hotel system
Hotel licensing and classification requirements are issued by the Ministry of Tourism and should be checked on its official site. What concerns the hotel management system is reporting: bookings, arrivals and departures to the tourism monitoring platform (NTMP), guest data to Shomoos, and invoices to ZATCA. Details on the tourism monitoring platform.

What the hotel system does
| Obligation | Authority | What the system sends |
|---|---|---|
| Tourism monitoring (NTMP) | Ministry of Tourism | Bookings, arrivals, departures and cancellations. |
| Shomoos | Ministry of Interior | Guest arrivals and departures. |
| E-invoicing | ZATCA | Invoices, and credit and debit notes. |
What the hotel system does not decide
Licensing, classification and building specifications. Those are checked with the Ministry of Tourism directly, and no software replaces them.
